Shine AdSight Mobile Carrier Bandwidth Savings & User Experience Benefits Via Network-Level Ad Blocking

Wireless carriers and fixed-line operators need to protect their consumers from intrusive and excessive advertising often referred to as AdTech. These same advertisements consume valuable bandwidth and can degrade the mobile user’s quality of experience. Shine Technologies solution can block ads dynamically thus improving user experience and improving bandwidth efficiency for carriers.
Shine Technologies commissioned Tolly to quantify the bandwidth savings and page load (user quality-of-experience) improvements of its AdSight solution. Tests were performed by accessing ~20,000 actual websites before and after implementation of Shine AdSight and comparing key bandwidth and page load metrics.
Tests showed that Shine AdSight AdTech blocking made significant reductions in bandwidth consumption and improved page load.
