Title: Ruijie Networks i-Share+ WLAN Solution Performance Evaluation vs Ruckus Wireless ZoneFlex R71

Publication date:   30 November 2016
Document number:    216152

Abstract:

The advent of high-availability wireless has led to an increase in personal devices such as smartphones, tablets and of course, the portable computer, which all allow users to connect from anywhere within a building complex. High-density environments are especially challenging as user demand is high and walls and other objects can impede signals. Ruijie Networks has developed a hierarchical WLAN system that is well-suited to these environments.

Ruijie Networks Co., Ltd. commissioned Tolly to evaluate their iShare+ three-element, hierarchical WLAN solution and compare the performance and coverage of that to the settled AP solution offered by Ruckus Wireless. Additionally, engineers evaluated deployment and management features of the Ruijie i-Share+ solution. Performance tests in a multi-room, multi-client environment showed dramatically better performance for the Ruijie solution.
