Abstract
Tolly engineers verified the performance of the HP FlexFabric 11900 high-end core routing switches and key features that make the switch family suited to fulfill the requirements and needs for enterprise campus networks, metropolitan-area networks (MANs) and data center networks.
Tolly engineers selected one HP FlexFabric 11908-V Switch Chassis (JG608A) with eight HP FlexFabric 11900 8-port 40GbE QSFP+ SF Module (JG614A) interface modules to verify that HP FlexFabric 11908-V Switch Chassis (JG608A) could support 100% Layer 2 line-rate throughput with 64 40GbE ports (2.56Tbps aggregated throughput) using snake traffic topology. Tolly engineers also selected one HP FlexFabric 11908-V Switch Chassis (JG608A) switch with eight 48 port 10GbE SFP+ interface modules to verify that HP FlexFabric 11908-V Switch Chassis (JG608A) could support 100% line-rate Layer 2, IPv4 and IPv6 throughput with 384 10GbE ports (3.84Tbps aggregated throughput) using a full mesh traffic topology.
