Abstract

The Tolly Group tested the performance of Lucent's Cajun M770 Multifunction Switch and results demonstrated aggregate non-blocking throughput in excess of 65 Gbit/s across 210 ports. Additionally, the switch showed its ability to deliver wire-speed performance across 210 OC-3 (155Mbps) ATM ports with zero cell loss and its ability to demonstrate hardware and LAN Emulation (LANE).

The switch also demonstrated the co-existence of OC-2 ATM modules and 10/100 Ethernet/Fast Ethernet switching modules.
