Abstract

The Tolly Group examined Windows NT 4.0 server IP throughput across Olicom's RapidFire 3140 Token Ring 16/4 PCI adapters and two other token-ring adapters: IBM Corp's PCI Wake on LAN Token-Ring Adapter and Madge Network's Smart 16/4 PCI Ringnode Mk3 adapter. All testing was done at 16 Mbit/s.
