Abstract

Hubbell Premise Wiring commissioned The Tolly Group to evaluate the performance of its SPEEDGAIN Category 5e and NEXTSPEED 670 Category 6 structured cabling solutions with UTP copper cabling from five of Hubbell’s approved Mission Critical Warranty partners. Participating manufacturers included: Belden Inc.; Berk-Tek, An Alcatel Co.; BICCGeneral Cable Industries Inc.; CommScope, Inc. and Mohawk/CDT, a Division of Cable Design Technologies. Engineers tested 30- and 90-meter cables in basic link and channel configurations.
