Abstract

Hubbell Premise Wiring and Mohawk/CDT commissioned The Tolly Group to evaluate various combinations of the SureBIT Cabling System, which consists of Hubbell’s SPEEDGAIN Category 5e and NEXTSPEED 670 connectivity products with MegaLAN 400 Category 5e and AdvanceNET and GigaLAN Category 6 cables from Mohawk/CDT. Tests include traditional passive/static performance measurements and dynamic active tests that measure actual bit error rates and cyclical redundancy checksum measurements.
