Intel Corp. commissioned The Tolly Group to evaluate the switching performance of its Intel NetStructure 470T Switch and Intel NetStructure 480T Routing Switch. Engineers measured the Gigabit Ethernet throughput of each of the devices when using 64-, 512-, and 1,518-byte frames.
