Abstract

Nbase-Xyplex commissioned The Tolly Group to evaluate the Layer 2 interoperability of the OptiSwitch 800. The Tolly Group put the OptiSwitch 800 through a battery of tests designed to reveal the depth of interoperability the switch provides. The Tolly Group engineers tested the OptiSwitch 800’s interoperability as it relates to six other vendor switches. Engineers tested pairs of Layer 2 switches in tests of autonegotiation, link aggregation and Gigabit Ethernet uplink support.
