Abstract

H3C commissioned The Tolly Group to evaluate H3C S5600 series switches on features and performance. The H3C S5600 series fulfills requirements for next generation enterprise small-to-medium sized networks and even convergence networks.

The H3C S5600 series has five models, each of which offers two high-speed stacking ports.

Tolly Group engineers tested features and performance on the H3C S5600 and awarded 56 Tolly Verified (TV) certifications for Layer 2 and 3 functions, stacking, network protocols, security features, Quality of Service (QoS), system management, and multicasting.

The H3C S5600 achieved wire-speed throughput with zero packet loss in Layer 2 and Layer 3 Gigabit Ethernet (GbE) bidirectional full mesh configurations. Even with 10 Gigabit Ethernet connections, H3C S5600 series maintained wire-speed with zero-loss. Testing was performed in October 2006.
