Abstract

Imperva commissioned The Tolly Group to evaluate the database activity monitoring and protection technology of its SecureSphere Database Security Gateway G4 and G8 appliances.

The Tolly Group examined the network performance of the SecureSphere G4 and G8 models in emulated MS-SQL and Oracle database environments to prove that Imperva solutions deliver adequate network performance capabilities to meet demanding business requirements.

Tests included measurements of the latency per query and the query processing rate with no response from the server with different configuration types. Engineers also measured the throughput when SQL queries returned large result sets. Tests were conducted in December 2007.
