Abstract
Symantec Corporation commissioned Tolly to evaluate the data protection performance of Symantec Backup Exec 12.5 & Symantec Veritas NetBackup 6.5.3 and compare them with EMC NetWorker 7.5 in a VMware environment.
Testing evaluated backup performance and recovery performance for the full VMware ESX virtual machines as well as individual files residing within a given virtual machine.
