Abstract

H3C commissioned Tolly to evaluate the Layer 2 performance of the H3C S5120 series switches and verify key features which make the switch family suited to fulfill the requirements and needs for data centers or enterprise campus networks.

Tolly engineers verified a total of 24 functions and features spanning security and control policies, Quality of Service (QoS), stacking functionality and system management.

Tests show that a standalone H3C S5120-58C-HI switch delivered wire-speed Layer 2 throughput with zero-loss on 52 GbE ports and 6 10GbE ports which results in 112Gbps aggregated throughput.
