Abstract

Tolly engineers verified the performance of the H3C CR16000 series core router, as well as verified key features that make the router family suited to be deployed as core routers for enterprise or carrier networks. H3C CR16000 demonstrated high performance and abundant features.

The H3C CR1600 delivered line-rate, L3 10GbE throughput across all packet sizes tested - from 64-byte to jumbo frames with 40 10GbE ports on a single interface module handling traffic in a full mesh configuration.

Tolly engineers also verified an extensive array of high-capacity, high- availability and advanced networking features, including: high-capacity routing and forwarding information base (FIB) tables, routing interoperability with Cisco, Huawei and Juniper, MPLS, firewall, IPv6, advanced quality-of- service and resilient packet ring (RPR).
