Abstract

The emergence of cloud computing as a viable path for implementing enterprise-class computing solutions brings with it many opportunities. Cloud computing also challenges prospective customers to understand the actual performance delivered by various solution providers.

NTT Communications (NTT Com) commissioned Tolly to benchmark the system performance of several of its offerings for the Japanese as well as global cloud cloud market and compare those to solutions hosted in Singapore by Amazon Web Services (AWS) and Microsoft Azure. Tolly benchmarked standard and premium disk services offered by NTT Com. Tolly also evaluated the CPU and memory performance results.
