Security is such a vast topic that it is difficult to see “down the road” during the selection process and to evaluate properly both current and future needs. But, taking a tactical approach to choosing a CASB solution can become a strategic mistake that is effectively irreversible. Broadcom is focused not just on providing core security capabilities but also on providing advanced features and capabilities required by companies with tens or hundreds of thousands of users and countless applications. 

Broadcom commissioned Tolly to evaluate advanced CASB capabilities of their solution vs. Netskope. Specifically, this Tolly report looks at those areas that become increasingly important as the scope of security deployment increases. The evaluation included: Visibility, DLP Detection, User Entity Behavior Analytics (UEBA), Threat Protection and more.

The Broadcom Symantec CloudSOC CASB solution demonstrated significant benefits over the Netskope Cloud Security Platform deployment evaluated.
