Abstract
The Tolly Group, under its former name InterLAB, ran a multi-vendor performance test of local Token Ring bridges.
The 3Com NETBuilder II used token ring modules based on the Texas Instruments TMS380 token ring chip set. It achieved source-route bridging throughput of 15.91Mbps.
The 3Com bridge supports a maximum frame size of 17,814 bytes.
