Abstract
The Tolly Group, under its former name InterLAB, ran a multi-vendor performance test of local Token Ring bridges.
The Cisco 4000 used token ring modules based on the Texas Instruments TMS380 token ring chip set. It achieved source-route bridging throughput of 15.90Mbps.
The Cisco bridge supports a maximum frame size of 8,192 bytes.
