Abstract
The Tolly Group, under its former name InterLAB, ran a multi-vendor performance test of local Token Ring bridges.
The Cisco 7000 used token ring modules based on IBM's token ring chip set. It achieved source-route bridging throughput of 15.98Mbps.
The Cisco bridge supports a maximum frame size of 4,464 bytes.
