Abstract
The Tolly Group, under its former name InterLAB, ran a multi-vendor performance test of local Token Ring bridges.
The Madge Smart Ringbridge is based on the Texas Instruments (TI) TMS380 token ring chip set. It achieved source-route bridging throughput of 15.73Mbps.
The Madge bridge supports a maximum frame size of 16,384 bytes.
