Abstract

SMC commissioned Tolly to benchmark the source-rout bridging throughput of the SMC EliteSwitch ES/1 local Token Ring bridge. 

With 4,096-byte frames, the switch achieved per-ring-pair throughput of 15.86Mbps on 16Mbps LAN ports.
