Abstract

This is the full, previously internal-use-only engineering report for the project. This was provided to the participating vendors in 1995. The Tolly Group released it publicly in November 2025.

The technical marketing summary documents for each participating vendor are published in Tolly Group documents 5250 through 5260. 

This report summarizes this vendor's results from its participation in The Tolly Group's 1995 Industry Benchmark - Data Link Switching (DLSw) Phase II: SDLC Support.

Vendor participants included Ascom Timeplex, Bay Networks, Cisco Systems, Hughes Network Systems, IBM Corp., ICL Personal Systems OY, Motorola, and Proteon.
