Abstract

ACC Commissioned Tolly to benchmark the performance of their Nile Branch Office and Amazon Central Office routers handling SNA SDLC 3270 and APPC traffic over 56Kbps frame relay WAN links between two, geographically separate Token Ring networks. 

SNA data throughput was between 45,780bps and 50,513bps via Frame Relay committed information rate (CIR) with SNA RU (payload) sizes ranging from 256 to 2,048 bytes.
