Abstract

Motorola Commissioned Tolly to benchmark the performance of their 6520 MPRouter handling SNA SDLC 3270 and APPC traffic over 56Kbps frame relay WAN links between two, geographically separate Token Ring networks. 

SNA data throughput was between 50,354bps and 52,805bps via Frame Relay committed information rate (CIR) with SNA RU (payload) sizes ranging from 256 to 2,048 bytes.
