Abstract

Presticom Commissioned Tolly to benchmark the performance of their NetPerformer BCX-6000/2TR handling SNA SDLC 3270 and APPC traffic over 56Kbps frame relay WAN links between two, geographically separate Token Ring networks. 

SNA data throughput was between 46,784bps and 51,323bps via Frame Relay committed information rate (CIR) with SNA RU (payload) sizes ranging from 256 to 2,048 bytes.
