Acacia Networks commissioned The Tolly Group to evaluate the performance of the Acacia NovaSwitch 2400ex and to verify features and functions of the product. The benchmarks described in this document are a subset of a wide range of tests that were conducted as part of The Tolly Group 1996/97 Ethernet Switching Industry Study. 

The test results discussed throughout this document demonstrate that the NovaSwitch 2400ex delivers wire speed performance and low latency, and provides a number of important features that allow network managers to maintain control of their networks.
