Abstract

Newbridge Networks commissioned The Tolly Group to explore how well its VIVID Switched Routing Solutions addresses those factors. The Tolly Group constructed a state-of-the-art heterogeneous campus network based on a cell-switched ATM backbone and frame-based Fast Ethernet and Ethernet workgroup services. The network employed Newbridge’s CS 1000 ATM switches, MPOA-based Route Server, Yellow Ridge Ethernet switches, Orange Ridge Fast Ethernet switches, and System Manager management software.
