Abstract

Acclaim Communications, Inc. commissioned The Tolly Group to test the functionality and performance of the Gigabit Uplink for the EtherWAN 2016 Switch. Testing was performed by generating bi-

directional 64-byte traffic between ten full duplex Fast Ethernet ports and the full duplex Gigabit Ethernet Uplink.

Results

Testing proved the Acclaim Gigabit Ethernet Uplink was functional and provided high throughput performance. The EtherWAN 2016 demonstrated wire speed performance for traffic flowing in the direction

of the Gigabit Ethernet Uplink to the ten Fast Ethernet ports. The Tolly Group observed 93% of wire speed throughput for traffic flowing in the direction of the ten Fast Ethernet ports to the Gigabit Ethernet
