Abstract

Tolly engineers evaluated Huawei CloudEngine 12800 (CE12800) series data center core switches and Huawei CloudEngine 6800 (CE6800) series data center access (ToR) switches based on RFC 8239 Data Center Benchmarking Methodology for line-rate forwarding, buffering, microburst, head-of-line blocking, as well as incase stateful and stateless traffic.

Devices under test include the CE12808 switch chassis (with the CE-L48XS-FD line card, the CE-L36LQ-FD line card, the CE- L36CQ-FD line card), the CE6870-48S6CQ-EI switch, the CE6870-48T6CQ-EI switch, and the CE6865-48S8CQ-EI switch.
