Abstract
We are witnessing the digital transformation of enterprises, globalization of the world economy, and growing maturity of new technologies like cloud computing and network virtualization. These trends have a huge impact on conventional multi-branch network architecture and service models, and are making it more challenging to achieve optimal networking and application experience, flexible user access, robust security, and easy O&M. Tolly evaluated Huawei's Xinghe Intelligent Unified SASE solution and Fortinet's solution from four dimensions.
• SD-WAN: How does the solution provide simpler automatic site deployment, automatic overlay network orchestration and deployment, batch deployment of user service policies, user application identification, intelligent service traffic steering, and key service experience optimization and assurance for multi-branch campus networks?
• Security protection: Can the solution quickly identify threats and provide functions like AI-powered security inspection, access security control, traffic security, and file security to proactively defend against threats and help enterprises reduce risks?
• Zero trust on the intranet: Can the solution implement unified policy control on devices and user identities and dynamically evaluate security status and take measures accordingly?
• Intelligent O&M: Is the network solution open enough for fast capacity expansion and change, are the network quality and service experience visualized, and are fault diagnosis tools efficient to facilitate enterprise digital services?
