Abstract
The Tolly Group, under its former name InterLAB, ran a multi-vendor performance test of local Token Ring bridges.
The SynOptics modules used token ring modules based on the Texas Instruments TMS380 token ring chip set. It achieved source-route bridging throughput of 15.73Mbps. The module resides in the SynOptics LattisNet hub.
The SynOoptics bridge supports a maximum frame size of 17,408 bytes.
