Abstract
Attachmate commissioned Tolly to evaluate the 3270-mainframe file transfer performance of its EXTRA! solution and compare that to similar solutions from DCA, Eicon, IBM, NetSoft, and Wall Data.
Attachmate outperformed the other vendors with respect to both upload and download speeds for both text (ASCII/EBCDIC) and binary file transfers.
Note: This report was first published under the InterLAB brand but re-branded as Tolly report 4256 when InterLAB became The Tolly Group in 1994.
